NEW DIGI-HUB OPENS SOON AT MTEK

Enterprising Monaghan (EM) are looking forward to opening their new remote working Digi:Hub. EM is a social enterprise where their focus is to provide affordable work space and hot desk solutions throughout the county. A Digi:Hub is a space that has been designed to accommodate workers who want to rent a space for a day, a week, a month or a year.

A key innovation in this development is the need to address a Digi:Hub that will enhance creativity, performance, and productivity in the workplace by promoting mental health and wellbeing, and they propose to do this by developing a biophilic office alongside an environmentally friendly outside area, for the health and wellbeing of the workers.

What is a biophilic office? It is a strategic approach to tap into and harness nature in our built environment- an office full of outside elements such as plants, light and water. All too often the gap between IT and nature is insurmountable but EM intend to break this mould by providing both the IT requirements to achieve excellent work and the environmental requirements….
