INTERNATIONAL FASHTECH ENTREPRENEUR LAUNCHES FIVE-YEAR STRATEGY FOR CASTLEBLAYNEY COMMUNITY ENTERPRISE CENTRE

Fashion and technology (fashtech) entrepreneur, Castleblayney native Aileen Carville, CEO/Owner of SKMMP, a fashion supply chain platform, proved to be an excellent choice to launch Castleblayney Community Enterprise’s Five-Year Strategic Plan, in the enterprise centre on Thursday night last. Minister Heather Humphreys spoke on the theme ‘Community Development in Action’, Bernard Bolger from Pobal gave a stakeholders’ perspective, while CCE Chairman Pete McMahon spoke about the formation of the plan. Centre Manager Tommy McGuire acted as Master of Ceremonies for the event, as well as providing an overview of the plan itself with a slideshow.

Attendees received a booklet outlining the strategy too. The Cathaoirleachs of both County and Municipal District were present, Councillor Aidan Campbell and PJ O’Hanlon respectively, as well as Castleblayney native Councillor Aoife Mc- Cooey. Many leading lights from the business community were in attendance too. Aileen, who is the daughter of prominent ‘Blayney businessman Tony Carville, gave a fascinating presentation on the company she founded and her career to date, working with iconic fashion houses across the globe.
