Building Bridges is the title of a new exhibition opening in Dublin on Saturday week involving collaboration between and Irish artist, Nelius Flynn from Emyvale, and a Chinese artist, Jie Leng Chambers. The exhibition is intended to foster a greater understanding of Chinese and Irish culture and the connections between both countries. Both artists are endeavouring to create metaphorical bridges between these two ancient nations through their creativity and subject matter.

The display will be opened by Dublin’s Lord Mayor, Councillor Alison Gilliland from Ballybay, on Saturday 29th January when it will run from 2:00-6:00pm then at 11:30am to 5:00pm daily. It is being held at Studio 7, a new purpose-built art gallery in Cathedral Street, beside the pro-Cathedral and off O’Connell Street. This beautiful exhibition space comprises an inspiring basement space and a fully fitted-out gallery at street level. Invitations to the opening are available through the website Eventbrite.
