Monaghan will start their 2022 Allianz NFL campaign with a derby against All-Ireland champions Tyrone in Omagh on the last Sunday in January. Monaghan’s eighth consecutive spring in Division One, with the league set to return to a full sevengame series, will begin with a repeat of the 2021 Ulster SFC Final. Three of Monaghan’s four away games are against Ulster rivals, with Séamus McEnaney’s side also set to travel to Armagh (February 19) and Ballybofey to face Donegal (March 13).

The latter is the first part of backto- back away fixtures, a week before a trip to Newbridge to face newlypromoted Kildare. Monaghan’s home games (against three of last year’s All-Ireland semi-finalists: Mayo, Kerry and Dublin) are all set for Clones. The last round of group fixtures will take place on the last Sunday in March, with the top two contesting the final at the start of April.
