Monaghan’s Brendan Lillis will receive nationwide recognition for his years of dedicated volunteer work with Border Bounce Gymnastics Club at next week’s virtual Federation of Irish Sport Volunteers in Sport Awards ceremony, proudly supported by EBS. For over 30 years, Brendan has worked tirelessly to ensure the Border Bounce Gymnastics Club has been successful. His ethos is that every child should have the opportunity to take part in gymnastics whatever their background and, during his time, he has ensured that the club is an inclusive place for all.

He is the central part of the club, liaising with other coaches and the committee, while coaching voluntarily himself as well as serving as the club’s treasurer and is truly an invaluable member of the club. The Volunteers in Sport Awards celebrate the contributions of the band of volunteers across the country who give their time to Irish sport and physical activity every year.
