Errigal Contracts investment in training academy reaches €6.5 million

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources announced on Tuesday that it had completed due diligence drilling in the Clontibret area of Co Monaghan where the exploration company hopes to establish a gold mine. The drilling at two holes in Clontibret and that carried out in other locations was part of the process towards finalising the joint venture agreement Conroy plan to enter with Turkish conglomerate Demir Export.

The joint venture project has as its principal focus the establishment of a Clontibret gold mine. A letter of intent was signed by Conroy and Demir in February. “I am delighted that due diligence drilling for the company’s proposed joint venture with Demir Export has been completed and we look forward to completing the final parts of the joint venture documentation and signing the definitive agreement,” Conroy Gold Chairman Professor Richard Conroy said on Tuesday.

The company stated that it continued to make positive progress towards finalising the documentation and other matters in connection with the proposed joint venture.
