DIVISION ONE STATUS ON THE LINE AS MONAGHAN SEEK MUCH-NEEDED WIN

An Allianz National Football League Division One North campaign that has caught the imagination of many for the free-flowing nature of the games to date looks set to go down to the wire on Saturday night. Following Tyrone’s win over Armagh in round two and the high-scoring draw between Monaghan and Donegal, all four Ulster rivals have plenty to play for in the final round, with qualification for the semi-finals and avoiding the relegation play-offs the target for each team.

Monaghan’s full focus will be on their latest derby against Tyrone in Omagh as they look to build on a much-improved performance in Ballybofey to get a much-needed win to their name.
