Rossmore Forest Park in Monaghan Town is continuing to experience an upward swing in its usage, with the children’s play area proving a particular source of delight as illustrated by the happy expressions on the faces of two users captured by our photographer Rory Geary this week. Already revealed as the second most visited of Coillte’s public parks in Ireland in a recent survey, the amenity is expected to see more visitor numbers during the improving weather of coming months. Monaghan Municipal District this week discussed the need for more car-parking spaces to accommodate Rossmore’s ever-burgeoning popularity.
