€13.1 MILLION ALLOCATED TO DUBLIN STREET REGENERATION PROJECT
• SCHEME WILL REVITALISE MONAGHAN TOWN SAYS CO COUNCIL CHIEF EXECUTIVE
The regeneration plan for Dublin Street in Monaghan Town has been granted €13.1 million under the Government’s Urban Regeneration and Development Fund. The allocation is expected to stimulate significant advancement of an ambitious urban renewal initiative which Monaghan Co Council Chief Executive Eamonn O’Sullivan said this week would revitalise Monaghan Town.
“In regenerating this area we will bring renewed energy into the town and make it a great place to live, work and visit,” Mr O’- Sullivan said in a statement welcoming Monday’s funding announcement by Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage Darragh O’Brien TD.
