NEW MONAGHAN-BASED DIGITAL HUB CAN HELP REGION’S BUSINESSES TAKE ON THE WORLD, LAUNCH TOLD

“There is no reason why any business in our region can’t take on the world,” stated Chief Executive John Shaw yesterday (Wednesday) during the online launch of the North-East Digital Innovation Hub project, a new dedicated facility based in Monaghan Town which will assist enterprises across the region in applying emerging technologies in areas such as Artificial Intelligence and robotics and maximising the potential of their data resources.

Around 150 representatives of north-east businesses signed in to listen to presentations on the theme of “Helping Your Enterprise Win with Data”. Among the speakers was Martin McVicar, Manager Director of Monaghan engineering firm Combilift, who detailed his company’s ongoing development of autonomous vehicle technology.
