An 88-year-old Corcaghan man is to walk 100 kilometres in order to fundraise for cancer treatment causes. Michael Connolly will adhere to the prevailing health and safety guidelines by covering the distance in St Anne’s Park in Sutton, Dublin. He committed himself to the demanding undertaking (the distance is that from Monaghan Town to Dublin) after his daughter was diagnosed with lung cancer.
