A plea for people to come forward with fresh information about the disappearance of Columba McVeigh forty-five years ago and to help end their torment has been made by his family. In November 1975, the 19 yearold from Donaghmore Co. Tyrone was abducted by the IRA, murdered and is believed to have been secretly buried in bogland at Bragan mountain. A number of unsuccessful searches for his body have been carried out there in recent years, led by the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims’ Remains.
