Corcaghan, Latton and Connons Will Be Main Areas to Benefit

Monaghan are to receive €233,000 in funding under the CLÁR programme as local Fine Gael Deputy and Minister Heather Humphreys pledges to support communities impacted by Covid-19. Three schools and a number of community groups are among those to benefit from grants to help improve footpaths, car parks, road safety measures, outdoor seating and other projects. Some €50,000 has been earmarked for St Michael’s National School in Corcaghan to fund a pedestrian crossing, digital speed signs and upgrades to road markings and footpaths.
