This is the fifth year of Cavan Monaghan Science Festival and it will definitely be one to remember! Planning for the 2020 festival started back in January before we knew what spectacular changes 2020 was going to bring us. As a result of the Covid 19 restrictions, the decision was taken during the summer to move all of the events online meaning you can stream any and all events directly into your home or school. The festival will launch on Sunday 8th November at 7:00pm with what promises to be an interesting interview with Professor Sam Mc Conkey.

Irish Times columnist Frank Mc Nally from Carrickmacross will be finding out how Sam went from the village of Killeevan near Clones to the forefront of the fight against Covid-19. On Monday 9th RTÉ’s Operation Transformation psychologist Dr Eddie Murphy will be helping us manage our Well-being during these strange times. Later in the week the festival team will also be hosting….
