Mass celebration will take place online only in the Diocese of Clogher for the next three weeks in line with the Government’s decision to move all of the Republic of Ireland to Level 3 Covid-19 restrictions, the Catholic Bishop of Clogher Larry Duffy announced yesterday. Bishop Duffy also outlined a number of other changes in the conduct of religious ceremonies to comply with the prevailing Coronavirus guidelines. Bishop Duffy said in a statement: In view of the decision by the Irish Government to move all of the Republic of Ireland to Level 3 restrictions from 7 October for three weeks, it is with regret that the following arrangements must now come into force in parishes in the Republic.

• The celebration of Mass and other liturgies/devotions is restricted to online only.
• Parishes may wish to revise their online Mass times.
