MONAGHAN PUBLIC URGED TO FOLLOW PROTECTIVE MEASURES WHEN PUTTING OUT HOUSEHOLD BINS

Monaghan Co Council has advised on measures to be adopted when putting out household bins in order to minimise the risk of spreading the Coronavirus.
To reduce the potential for cross-contamination, the local authority has requested the public to:
• Present bins on the evening before the scheduled collection
• Clean handles of bins with disinfectant where possible before and after presentation
• Place wipes, cloths, gloves, etc used for cleaning in the general waste bin
