DPP FILE BEING PREPARED AFTER LATEST ARRESTS FOR ABDUCTION OF QUINN DIRECTOR

Gardaí have said that a file is being prepared for the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and investigations are continuing after they released without charge a man arrested in relation to the abduction and serious assault of Quinn Industrial Holdings Director Kevin Lunney.

Three other persons arrested by the Police Service of Northern Ireland in relation to the incident have also been released without charge.

Kevin Lunney made his first public appearance after his ordeal on Friday last at the official launch of a collaborative Business Insights Partnership project between QIH and St Aidan’s High School in Derrylin, Co Fermanagh.
