Irish Water connection charges could put farmers and small enterprises in Co Monaghan out of business, it was claimed at Monday’s meeting of Monaghan Co Council. Sinn Féin’s Pat Treanor said he was sure that all councillors had received representations from people who had sought a connection from Irish Water in recent times.
