SHABRA OPENS NEW €1.2M RECYCLING AND REPROCESSING PLANT AT BREE

ENVIRONMENTAL history for Ireland’s industrial and commercial sector—as well as for concerned community groups everywhere—was created this week by the enterprising and hugely successful Shabra company in the Killycard Industrial Estate at Bree, near Castleblayney, with the opening on Monday afternoon last, of a new €1.2 million recycling and bottle reprocessing extension, which is unique in the country, and adds further to the unrivalled award-winning achievements by Shabra since its establishment by Rita Shah, its present chief executive, and the late Oliver Brady, in 1986,
The new plant, which is an extension of a major recycling and re-processing project by the company—and the only one of its kind in the country— will increase the work force by ten to eighty-five employees.
