Harte believes Monaghan should have won by more

Monaghan got their NFL Division One campaign up and running last weekend with a surprise but merited victory over Tyrone with team-manager Seamus McEnaney admitting after the game in Castleblayney that the result was all-important. In the wake of his team’s defeat in the opening round of the NFL to Galway, McEnaney heaped praise on his players’ performance against Mickey Harte’s men but he couldn’t hide his pleasure at the team’s success in breaking their duck this season: “It’s a good result,” McEnaney told the Northern Standard after the match.
