MULLAN LIGHTING ANNOUNCES 30 ADDITIONAL JOBS ON ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY

Mullan Lighting celebrated ten years in business at the village’s historic mill on Friday morning last, by announcing plans to expand their premises, which the company hoped would lead to the creation of thirty further jobs over the next two years. Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys was the keynote speaker and Julie Sinnamon from Enterprise Ireland also spoke on the day.

This is a huge success story for a small village, which not so long ago only had one resident, who is happily still living. Husband and wife team Mike and Edel Treanor set up the company a decade ago and it has gone from strength to strength.
