BORDER BUSINESSES REVIEW BREXIT SCENARIOS

Industry leaders gathered in Dundalk last Friday for a “Business Beyond Brexit” seminar, organised by the British Irish Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Ulster Bank. They discussed the impact of Brexit on companies in the border region and how to support growth in a post-Brexit world.

The second in a series of regional events provided local business leaders with an update on the latest EU negotiations, economic trends and market forecasts influencing business decisions and trade with the United Kingdom. Those in attendance were presented with a case study from prominent local business Intact Software, a company that employs 130 people across Ireland and the UK, which gave a first-hand account on its Brexit planning and the impact Brexit is having on its operation.
