County finalists fully armed and primed for action

Both reigning champions Scotstown and challengers Clontibret report a clean bill of health ahead of this Sunday’s (3.30pm) SFC final in St. Tighernach’s Park, Clones. The biggest day in the year for sport in the county will see Scotstown attempt to make it five-in-arow of Mick Duffy Cup triumphs and the smart money is on them doing just that – for the second time in the club’s history. Clontibret last captured the Holy Grail in 2014 when they defeated Scotstown but they are being pidgeon-holed as a latter day Kerry to Scotstown’s Dublin as the weekend’s major tete-a-tete draws ever so closer.
