MONAGHAN E-COMMERCE PROJECT TO BENEFIT AS MINISTER ANNOUNCES €2.5 MILLION ENTERPRISE FUNDING PACKAGE

Funding for the development of an e-commerce cluster for retailers in Co Monaghan was announced by Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys TD on Friday. The initiative – which is to receive €56,640 – was one of 16 projects nationwide which will benefit from €2.5 million being made available under the 2019/2020 Local Enterprise Office Competitive Fund.

The successful applicants were announced by Minister Humphreys at a gathering hosted by the Monaghan Local Enterprise Office in the M:TEK I building at Knockaconny in the presence of Mark Christal, Manager of the Regions and Entrepreneurship division of Enterprise Ireland and Oisin Geoghegan, Chair of the Network of Local Enterprise Offices.
