Castleblayney got their senior championship aspirations back on track while dumping next door neighbours Doohamlet out of the ser i es, in this at times scrappy e ncounter th at nevertheless built to an excit ing finish in a close ly fought second-half in Clontibret on Saturday evening last.
Castleblayney were the more dominant team in the first half at the end of which they led by 1-8 to 0-4, the goal by Brendan McElroy in th e twen tieth minute.
