Rampant Clontibret win coveted Corn Gael Linn with power-packed display

Clontibret senior camogie team have become renowned for ‘boxing above their weight’, especially in the past year when they became the first-ever Monaghan camogie team to reach a Junior All-Ireland final. However, nothing quite prepared the spectators heading to Pάirc Grattan on Sunday last, for the heavy defeat they would inflict on a highly fancied Castleblayney team, seeking to get their hands on the coveted Corn Gael Linn for the first time since 2016.

Clontibret took the lead in the 20th second and apart from a brief wobble coming up to half time, they never faltered until the final whistle sounded.
