DELEGATION OF MPS FROM THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA VISIT IRELAND ON FACT-FINDING MISSION

Pictured with Deputy Brendan Smith is a delegation of MPs from the Republic of Korea and the Ambassador to Ireland. Deputy Brendan Smith told the Northern Standard that the delegation of MPs were on a factfinding mission to London, Belfast, Monaghan and Dublin in relation to BREXIT.

The Cavan/Monaghan Fianna Fáil TD stated that as Chairman of the Oireachtas All Party Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade and Defence he had detailed discussions with the delegation concerning BREXIT and they also discussed the potential to grow Irish exports and create additional business opportunities with Korea which has a population in excess of 50 million people. Deputy Brendan Smith stated that he also raised with the delegation the possible opening of the Korean market for Irish beef exports…
