IRISH WATER CRITICISED FOR NOT MEETING COUNCILLORS OVER BALLYBAY SUPPLY

The lack of a response by Irish Water to a request that a representative attend a meeting of Ballybay Clones Municipal District to explain the poor quality of water in Ballybay has been described as ‘outrageous’ and ‘totally unacceptable’ by Fianna Fáil Councillor Seamus Coyle. He described the reply received from a customer service advisor in Cork as ‘a total insult’ to public representatives who had expressed their genuine concerns about the problem.
