In a comprehensive address to a well attended local election meeting in the Old Coach Inn, Castleblayney, on last Thursday night, Cllr. Jackie Crowe, thanking his family, friends and fellow Sinn Féin party activists who were in attendance, went on to outline the key points he intends raising over the course of his campaign and that he will seek to address if successfully returned on 24th May.

A Councillor for the past 25 years, Jackie is currently vicechair of the Castleblayney Carrickmacross Municipal District. A member of Castleblayney Town Council for 20 years to its abolition, Jackie has served as Cathaoirleach and Leas Cathaoirleach of Monaghan County Council. A member of the Board of the East Border Region Authority, he is also a member of the North Western Regional Assembly.

A very busy and very dedicated public elected representative, Cllr. Jackie Crowe is married to Bernie and they have eight children and thirteen grandchildren.
