CONTRACTS BOOST FOR COMBILIFT AND KINGSPAN ANNOUNCED BY MINISTER HUMPHREYS DURING AUSTRALIAN TRADE MISSION

Kingspan are among the Irish companies that will benefit from over $10 million in recently secured Australian contracts, it was stated by Cavan/Monaghan Fine Gael TD and Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys during her current trade mission to Sydney, Perth and Singapore.

Kingspan Insulated Panels have secured a $8 million capex investment for a new state-of-theart machine which will operate at their factory in Greater Western Sydney. Combilift have announced a contract with E Store Logistics, who are soon to become the second largest user of the Combilift Aisle Master product, and the largest private user across Australia and New Zealand.

“Huge congratulations to both Kingspan and Combilift on their latest achievements on the world stage,” Minister Humphreys stated. “Without a doubt, they prove that you don’t have to be in a big city to make a big impact. “

Market diversification has never been more important with Brexit on the horizon, so Kingspan and Combilift serve as an example for other companies to follow. “Irish companies exported upto €253 million to Australia last year an increase of 43% over the past 3 years.
