Brilliant quartet inducted into Monaghan Hall of Fame

On a night of stars at the Four Seasons Hotel, those who once upon a time shone on the playing fields of Monaghan, Ulster and Ireland again found themselves in the limelight – but this time in a more comfortable and less challenging environment! Last Friday night, the hugely popular Hall of Fame showcased Monaghan GAA’s living legends.

The packed attendance delighted in saluting four former players who were inducted into the county’s Hall of Fame – two from Castleblayney, Dessie Mulligan and Anthony McArdle and two from Scotstown, Fergus Caulfield, who was unable to attend last Friday night’s function and Sean “Jack” Mc- Carville.
