Treanor big loss for Castleblayney hurlers

This weekend the Castleblayney hurling club’s season takes another step when they travel to Birmingham to take on the champions of Britain, John Mitchells of Warwickshire, in what is effectively the All Ireland Quarter-Final but is termed the club Junior hurling championship Twinning final. That term arises from the agreement reached by the Ulster Council with Central Council that the Ulster Council was paired with Britain and would incorporate the Junior hurling and Junior football ….
