The exit of Britain and the North from the European Union, and the implications for farmers from a revised EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), were described at a largely attended seminar in Co Monaghan last Friday, as creating a “double threat for the future of the family farm sector, on both sides of the Irish border.
