Goals set the stage for a highly-entertaining clash

A sharper, hungrier Cremartin, deservedly booked their place in the final of the Universal Graphics Junior Football Championship at the expense of Clones in this entertaining and at times exciting contest that was played in breezy conditions in Scotstown on Sunday evening last. Cremartin led from gun to tape after hat-trick hero David Hanley opened with a goal and the best that Clones could achieve thereafter was being level at 1-6 apiece 3 minutes into the second half. Goals played a big part in the second-half as well with Cremartin hitting two and Clones netting one in the third quarter to keep the contest very much in the balance and they exchanged goals again in the closing …
