A South Monaghan councillor has welcomed the disclosure last week that Monaghan County Council, along with each other local authority in the country, is to receive a €50,000 per annum boost for the next two years from the Department of Housing, Planning, and Local Government, to facilitate a Vacant Homes’ service.
