THE demand for a public inquiry into all the circumstances surrounding the tragic hit-and-run death of the young Carrickmacross law student Shane O’Farrell, and the subsequent investigation into the fatality, has continued to mount feverishly, at cross-party political level, following a recent call by Fianna Fail in a Private Members’ motion, urging the government to immediately establish a Commission of Investigation into the death of Shane.
