BALLYBAY CRÈCHE REMAINS CLOSED FOLLOWING ‘E. COLI’ OUTBREAK
BUT H.S.E. CONFIRMS THAT NO CASES NEEDED HOSPITALISATION
Health Service Executive (HSE) confirmed this week that it is continuing to investigate a number of linked cases of VTEC (“E. coli”) infection that were dectected at Ballybay Community Crèche last week. Significantly, it confirms that none of the cases recorded has been serious enough to require hospitalisation.
