A man who was seriously injured on Saturday evening in a road accident on the N2 Monaghan to Dublin road at Aclint on the Louth/Monaghan border north of Ardee has died in hospital in Dublin.
The man was the sole occupant of a car, which was involved in a collision with a van. He was airlifted to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead on Sunday. The coroner for Co. Louth was notified and a post-mortem examination was carried out. He was later named as 64…
