CARTHY TO SEEK SF GENERAL ELECTION NOMINATION

Sinn Fein MEP for the Midlands North West Matt Carthy has confirmed this week that he will seek his party’s nomination to contest the next General Election in the Cavan/Monaghan constituency. Mr Carthy’s disclosure came yesterday (Wednesday) as the party announced that a convention to select the first of two candidates for the constituency will take place on Thursday April 26 in Monaghan Town.
