INNISKEEN LAUNCH OF “IRELAND’S COMPLEX HISTORY”
• Local author’s book focuses on our past….

THE long awaited launch of an exciting new book by South Monaghan author Matt Kearney, titled “Ireland’s Complex History for 2,000 Years” is to take place next month at Inniskeen Community Centre.
The 131-page book gives a very informative and well written insight to a multiplicity of facets of Irish life and events, going back some 2,000 years and detailing in easy-to-read format, many vital developments of Irish life, social and political, up to the present day.
The launch will take place at the Inniskeen Community Centre on Friday 16th March, the eve of St. Patrick’s Day, and it contains a comprehensive history of Ireland’s past from the first chapter which focuses on how our ancestors lived to the period of Brian Boru. It also focuses on the arrival of St. Patrick to his herding of sheep on a mountain in neighbouring Co. Tyrone…
