A “cool and collected” pensioner collected €250,000 at the National Lottery headquarters in Dublin on Tuesday after buying her winning ticket in Clones.

The National Lottery have confirmed that the winner comes from Co Monaghan but has decided not to go public with their identity. She won €250,000 in the Lotto Plus 2 draw on Wednesday, October 25, purchasing her winning ticket from Super Valu on Fermanagh Street in Clones.
