The first running of the Oliver Brady Memorial Cup open golf competition for ladies and gents proved a huge success. This event held over 36 holes with players playing on Thursday last at Moyvalley in the first 18 holes and then on Saturday on to Rossmore for the final 18 holes. Blessed with glorious sunshine on both days the event lived up to all expectations with all players high in their praise for this new competition run to pay tribute to the late Oliver Brady a highly acclaimed local Monaghan sportsman ….
