CARRICKMACROSS GETS NEW REVEREND AFTER ALMOST FOUR YEARS

By Veronica Corr Last Friday evening, April 28th, was bright and beautiful and the imposing landmark that is St. Finbarr’s Church of Ireland looked its best for the institution of its new Reverend Colin McConaghie as Incumbent by the Bishop of Clogher, the Right Reverend Francis John McDowell.

Reverend McConaghie will have responsibility for the grouped Parishes of Carrickmacross, Magheracloone and Ardragh, which has been without a permanent rector since Reverend Kingston left almost four years ago.
