Relief and joy were etched into Cathriona McConnell’s post-match comments as she reflected on Monaghan’s dramatic 3-11 to 2-11 NFL Division One relegation play-off win against Armagh last weekend.
The Donaghmoyne dynamo’s 2-4 tally made her a stand-out in the game but, typically, the ace attacker was wont to cast the plaudits far and wide.
