Chief Executive Officer of Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board John Kearney last week paid warm tribute to a teacher in Beech Hill College, Monaghan, who died as a result of a road accident in early January.
Speaking to The Northern Standard on Thursday last, following a ceremony held in St Macartan’s Cathedral to celebrate Mona Clarke’s life, Mr Kearney said it had been a very sad day but he described the ceremony as fitting and moving with staff past and present and students contributing.
