This was the Instagram post that Ireland No 8 Jamie Heaslip posted last weekend in response to his attendance at the Ireland rugby squad training camp at Monaghan Rugby Club last Friday, February 17.

This was only one of many unreservedly positive reactions to the visit of the squad to Monaghan as part of their preparations for Saturday’s Six Nations international against France at the Aviva Stadium.

The complimentary comments ranged in source from former IRFU President John Callaghan to the youngest supporters who attended Friday’s open session at Rafeenan and got a chance to see some of their sporting heroes in the flesh.
