• St Davnet’s building is new location for long-awaited project

Plans first announced in 2013 to make the Monaghan Hospital campus the location for a new North Monaghan Primary Care Centre have now been abandoned, it was confirmed on Monday.

A building in the grounds of St Davnet’s Hospital in Monaghan Town which formerly housed the Blackwater facility for older people with psychiatric illness will instead be used for the project, which is not now expected to be delivered until 2020.
