A rampant Inniskeen put Cavan champions Cootehill Celtic ruthlessly to the sword in this veritable rout that had the game over as a contest even before the halfway stage. Inniskeen will know though that sterner tests await as they take on the Antrim Junior champions this Sunday in Dungannon but at this stage they are on course to take another Ulster title.

The Grattans had it all too easy against their under strength opponents Cootehill Celtic in a thoroughly lop-sided Ulster JHC first round encounter at the latter’s Hugh O’Reilly Park headquarters.

The Grattans were a class apart with a turbo-charged display in the opening 10 minutes to lay solid foundations that allowed them to go on and construct a massive 35 points winning margin, a margin that reflects their overall superiority.

Playing towards the church end of the ground, the wind-aided Grattans burst free of the starting blocks, predictably going on to lead from start to finish and never looking out of their comfort zone.
