Tyholland are through to the McElvaney’s Waste and Recycling Intermediate Football Championship semi finals for a sixth time in seven years after an impressive win over neighbours Emyvale in Truagh last Sunday.

Emyvale led by the narrowest of margins at the end of a well-contested first half, but Tyholland hit 15 points in a free-flowing second-half performance to run out convincing winners.

Tyholland hit eight unanswered points after the restart and although a brief resurgence gave Emyvale hope, the favourites finished with another burst of seven scores to pull clear.
