TWO TEAMS MUST GO OUT OF THE SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

There are three games in the senior football championship this weekend, 2 on Saturday evening in Scotstown, Monaghan Harps taking on Castleblayney followed by the meeting of next door neighbours and fellow parishioners Doohamlet and Clontibret. The 3rd game sees Latton and Scotstown meeting in Castleblayney on Sunday evening.

It’s the last chance saloon for both of these sides in this qualifier game as both suffered defeats in their opening championship games back in May, Monaghan Harps losing to Magheracloone by a 1-19 to 0-11 in Aughnamullen on May 14th while Castleblayney lost to Truagh by 2-16 to 0-11 in Scotstown on Sunday May 15th.
